ECET 230 HOMEWORK 2

September Students in this course will be introduced to C language computer programming for electronics. Students will examine powerful PLC functions, including PID controller, sequencer, quadrature encoder high-speed inputs, and analog signals. Working in teams, students in this first course in a three-course sequence initiate development of the senior project approved in ECET My Account My Account Newsletter. Develop the Boolean equation for the circuit shown below 2. The course focuses on electrical circuits composed of passive components resistors, capacitors and inductors and a DC source.

Students will learn to program microcontrollers in both assembly and C programming languages and practice simulation and code development techniques in an embedded environment. Students will have the skills to correctly install various network devices and be able to troubleshoot network related problems. In addition, they will learn specialized control schemes for wind energy, solar-thermal, solar photovoltaic and battery systems. This course introduces advanced topics in local and wide area network design. Students will make extensive use of RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers and simulation techniques during lab exercises. They will also cover communication with embedded devices such as the Netduino or other ARM microcontroller platforms. Students will gain experience in all phases of an electronic and computer engineering or electrical engineering project that meets industry and professional standards and expectations.

This course emphasizes active and passive sensors as translators of various forms of energy into electrical energy. Emphasis is on AC analysis of circuits consisting of passive elements, and coursework incorporates techniques such as total impedance and phasor diagrams.
